Unity3D Ragnarok Prototype

Hey everyone! Sorry this is a late submission.  This is my first prototype using Unity3D and let me say that it has quite a steep learning curve.  Fortunately there is a lot of information out there just waiting to be found and modified to fit my game.  This is only a single level with a single enemy but many of the basics work such as the lives counter, scoreboard, and player and enemy boundaries.  This game still needs a lot of improvement especially in the graphics design department.  I'm open to any suggestions or help that anyone is willing to offer.  Here is the link to the game

Multiple Player Mode Brainstorm

Ragnarok was not originally setup as single player game because our hero is the lone survivor after his/her fleet was destroyed.  But what if someone else also survived? What if multiple people survived? Well this theoretical multiple player mode would involve putting each additional player on a different axes. The first player would remain on the x-axis, the second player would fight on the y-axis, and the third player would defend his/her position from the x-y axis (the right side of the screen).  Each player would gain the ability to rotate their weapons and fire toward the Drood.  Undoubtedly with the combined fire power the Drood don't stand a chance!

Ragnarok Prototype 3

This is the third prototype of my space-shooter Ragnarok.  In this update I added a third level that has enemies that spawn after death in a random location on the screen.  These new type of Drood can wrap around the screen and appear on the opposing side.  Also one of the enemies is carrying a damage + 1 power-up! I finally was able to fix Ragnarok's lives counter and spawn after death.  Here is the link of me playing the new prototype ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OQSJOV9b3E

Also if you'd like to play my prototype here is the link---> http://www.stencyl.com/game/play/21913
If anyone has any suggestions or feedback I'm all ears.  Thanks!

Game Minute

It's the year 4665 and you awaken in your fighter shaken up but not seriously hurt.  After checking to make sure you are not seriously injured you peer outside your cockpit to find that you are on a rock floating through space.  You attempt to remember how you got there but all you can remember is fighting alongside your kinsmen against the hostile Drood.  Suddenly, you snap out of your foggy haze and realize that the rock and your ship are being hit by fallen debris.  Looking closely at the rubble falling from the sky you recognize some of the serial numbers on chunks of the burning metal.  Knowing that you may be the only remaining survivor from your fleet you feel rage sweep over you.  The Drood must pay for what they have done.  Holding this idea of revenge inside you make repairs on your fighter and prepare to take on the entire Drood fleet.   Shortly after take off you encounter five of the remaining Drood fighters scouring the area for any remaining lifeforms.  They immediately fire upon you and you do not hesitate to return fire.  You weave through enemy fire and blast your way through as the Drood close in on you.  It seems as though five against one isn't fair odds for them.  They cannot keep up with your ships maneuverability.  Sure they may have landed a few shots but with only two remaining you make short work of them and continue on looking for more.  One of them drop a container containing a power-up for your ship.  You are delighted that this power-up will increase your firepower.
